Publisher, media reformer and author
Dan Hind worked as an editor for ten years, during which time he commissioned or acquired a number of bestselling books including Fast Food Nation, Love All the People, The Corporation and Treasure Islands. In 2009 he left Random House to develop a program for media reform centered on public participation in the editorial process. His journalism has appeared in the Guardian, the New Scientist, openDemocracy andAl Jazeera. He has written three books, The Threat to Reason (2007), The Return of the Public (2010) and The Magic Kingdom (2014). He lives in Margate.
