Investor and expert on capitalism and science
André is interested in the constructive role that capitalism and science can play in the furthering of economy and social development. In his day job André manages up to £100 million of investment in public companies. He has over 30 years’ experience in corporate finance with companies of a range of sizes, including those working in life sciences and biotechnology (his degree was in chemistry). He is also a non-executive director of a Venture Capital Trust. He has pursued his interest in the role of the constructive role of capitalism in helping Gladstone’s Library assemble its ‘Exploring Capitalism’ Collection.
